Flux Power Introduces Li Ion Battery System For Polaris Ranger ATV's

Flux Power Incorporated has introduced a new lithium-ion battery system upgrade kit for Polaris Ranger EVs.

Flux says that the new upgrade kit lasts up to 10 years or up to 3,000 cycles. This new Flux Power kit is targeted at customers wanting better performance from their existing Polaris Ranger EV ATVs. The kit fits in the existing space while saving weight, improving performance and safety. The 48V kit comes in 8, 9.6, 16, and 19.2 kWh versions.

The kit comes with all necessary hardware while remaining compatible with the Polaris on-board charger. Included are: Batteries with integrated BMS (Battery Management System), Communication Cables, CAN Current Sensor, State of Charge Indicator, and all mechanical hardware for battery hold down. Each 12v module is monitored by Flux Power’s innovative BMS and charging is regulated by an advanced CAN Current Sensor to assure a maintenance free long-life.

Kits can be purchased through any Flux Power Dealer or at any participating Polaris Electric Vehicle Dealer across the US.

Flux Power, a spin-off of LHV Power, has developed high-power battery cell management systems that have proven to extend cycle life. Flux Power couples this with a communication system to provide data on numerous cell metrics. Flux Power has a suite of display systems and diagnostic utilities to help clients get the most value out of the information available. In addition, Flux Power has smart charging systems that are stackable to multiple charging configurations, while communicating directly with each cell to make sure the most beneficial charge is available.
