Electric Jeep Tackles the Tough Trails Like a Boss (w/ Video)

Electric Jeep Wrangler - Trail Rated
Built by the CAD4X Laboratory at the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST), this all electric Jeep Wrangler was built to tackle some serious off-road obstacle courses.
The video claims these electric Jeep Wranglers are powered by “dual 60 kW motor” good for 160 HP and 210 LB-FT of TQ. Thanks to the Jeep’s natural climbing abilities and excellent approach angles- aided, in part, by the electric motors’ instant TQ and the massive, 37″ tires fitted to these- these KAIST-built climbers are more than up to the task of keeping up with a “proper”, diesel-powered Jeep on even the toughest terrain.
You can watch that showdown happen in the video, below, then let us know what you think of this Korean take on Jeep off-roading in the comments section at the bottom of the page. Enjoy!
