Peugeot Exalt Hybrid Packs 340 Horsepower Punch

peugeot-exalt-concept

Hybrids are supposed to be boring? Don’t tell that to the Peugeot Exalt, a hybrid coupe revealed ahead of the Beijing Auto Show with 340 horsepower on tap. Though light on details, the bare metal and sharkskin textile exterior cuts an attractive portrait of a performance hybrid.
Equipped with Peugeot’s 340 horsepower HYbrid gas-electric drivetrain, the Exalt coupe makes due with just two doors and no paint for a unique, two-tone look. The bare metal look is reminiscent of a previous concept, the Peugeot Onyx, which had bare copper panels that I can’t wait to see covered in a sexy patina.
Peugeot stuck with the bare metal concept, but also added the two-toned sharkskin textile made from worsted fabric for a look unlike any other concept I’ve yet seen. Sticking with the natural materials theme, Peugeot also added as onyx and leather finishes on the interior for an upscale car that makes no compromises.
I’m looking forward to more pictures and details of this powerful and plush Peugeot hybrid.
