2014 Tesla Model X

Being officially tagged as an SUV; the 2014 Tesla Model X provides a means of all electric style coupled with comparable power. While the Tesla Model X is expected to debut with a rather large price point, the consumer will be saving money when it comes to gas and any available government benefits when the vehicle is purchased. While many still have fears of an all electric vehicles ability to hold up and speed up, Tesla is sure to make quelling these fears of utmost important factor for those still on the fence.
Exterior
To continue the Tesla line of a very stylish exterior which perfectly accentuates the practicality of full electric while still maintaining excellence, the 2014 Tesla Model X is definitely designed to look good as it cruises down the road. One of the most noticeable aspects on the exterior of the Model X is falcon doors, which work like scissor doors but open upwards to almost mimic a bird’s wings when flapping.
Interior
Tesla has released some confirmed features that will be found on the inside of the Model X. one of the most functional features mentioned by Tesla is the step in access system which essentially makes it easy to get the second row seats out of the way to get to the rear. Tesla has also made it clear that the Model X will seat seven people, and can hold up its fore mentioned power as full capacity. The other most mentionable feature found on the inside of the 2014 Tesla Model X is the Tesla Touchscreen. The Tesla Touchscreen is simply a tablet with internet connection as well as car controlling functionality.
Power and Performance
To many, the power capabilities of a fully electric vehicle are a moot point as most do not drive this vehicle type for speed, but rather for practicality. The 2014 Tesla Model X comes in two basic models, a rear wheel drive and an all-wheel drive. While the rear wheel drive specifications are unknown, the all-wheel drive system with two drive units is being touted as going from 0 to 60 in less than five seconds. Also, the car can get a maximum of 300 miles on a single charge, quite an impressive number for a vehicle this functional.
Suspension and Handling
The one area which Tesla is being kept totally tight lipped on is the suspension and handling components. While nothing official is known, the SUV is expected to have slight off-road capabilities as it is built for said purpose, and with the all-wheel drive model, this is a reality.
Conclusion
While the 2014 Tesla Model X is different, it is definitely living up to be a winner. With a high range, high torque, and off road functionality, the Model X will appeal to almost anyone who simply does not want to use fuel.
