Toyota Scion EV To Make its Debut in March - FT-EV

Toyota has announced plans to introduce the iQ electric vehicle prototype at the Geneva Motor Show.

Essentially a near-production version of the FT-EV concept, the iQ features a newly-developed flat lithium-ion battery that enables the car to travel approximately 105 kilometers (65 miles) on a single charge. The company will begin testing the vehicle later this year, before leasing it to European consumers in 2012.

Toyota will also display the Yaris Hybrid Synergy Drive Concept at the same time. Our question is, "Why is taking Toyota so long to deliver the Plug-In Prius?"
