The 100 MPG Hummer Tackles Moab Off-Roading

It can be done. Cars can be built and designed to achieve mileages two and three times higher than what we see today. In fact, during the Clinton Administration's early years, the major US manufacturers all presented a sedan that could achieve 70 mpg or more. What happened to those cars? Why are we still driving around in vehicles that average only 25 mpg?

Here is a video of a Hummer that has been designed ala the Chevy Volt that gets 100 mpg. It can be done.
