The iPad is turning out to be a very versatile device. We’ve already seen some great car mods take advantage of the iPad as an entertainment and navigation hub and now electric car maker T3 Motion is taking things a step further. It is utilizing the iPad as the central information hub for the company’s upcoming GT3 electric vehicle.
The car’s centrally positioned iPad provides the driver and passenger with easy access to audio, video, navigation and games. The GT3 also sports an integral 5BARz system to improve 3G reception which should also help the iPad’s data speeds while on the road.
T3 Motion’s GT3 is a two passenger vehicle, hits a top speed of 70 MPH and has an 80 – 100 mile range on a full charge. No word on the car’s final price, but if you live in the US you can pre-order a GT3 on the T3 Motion website.
