Tork Accepting Deposits for T6X Electric Motorcycle - VIDEO

After 7 years of development, Tork, the electric motorcycle company based in India, is ready to begin manufacturing its T6X electric motorcycle. The citizens of every country have their own mobility needs. While the T6X may not seem like a compelling machine to American buyers who won’t give a second glance to any bike that isn’t powered by a pushrod V twin, the T6X is perfectly suited for riding in India’s congested cities.
Tork T6X electric motorcycle
This stylish electric motorcycle has a top speed of 60 miles per hour and a range of 60 miles. Better yet, it can be recharged to 80% of capacity in just an hour. Best of all, it has an advanced electronics package called TIROS, which stands for Tork Intuitive Response Operating System. What does it do?
According to CleanTechnica, it learns how each rider likes to drive and adapts the powertrain to suit individual needs. It analyzes the bike’s performance in real time and sends the data to a 4.3″ touchscreen. It can receive over the air updates and has cloud connectivity. A navigation system is included as well as a USB port to power up your smartphone.
Can it get any better? Yes, it can. Tork is now accepting pre-order reservations in selected cities for a rock bottom, hard to beat, never seen anything like it price of $1,882. That makes it one of the best bargains in the transportation universe. Smart, sexy, zero emissions mobility for less than the cost of most electric bicycles? Sweet!
India has established a goal of 100% electric vehicles by 2030. The Tork T6X and other machines like it could be an important key to realizing that goal. While Elon Musk has a dream of selling 500,000 cars a year, Tork could easily sell many times that amount of these machines in India. Even at under $2,000, the T6X is beyond the means of India’s poor, but there are tens of millions who can afford one. Tork is tapping into a huge market.
Will the T6X ever make it to other countries? That’s certainly a possibility. Throughout Asia and other parts of the world, this electric motorcycle has all the performance people need for daily use. The only problem Tork will have now is manufacturing enough of them to meet the demand. That’s a delightful problem to have.
